    Awesome! I've been showing goats for over 2 years now. I show NPGA pygmy goats and fe in love with it! So in showmanship which is the knowledge of your animal and goat knowledge.     I do agree with littlekatzz that goats raised on properly handled formula do well. Also they do take a lot of time commitment!

    X2 I have dam raised kids that were handled a lot even though mom wasn't very friendly and they are super friendly. I had a judge ask me if they were bottle babies because as I was showing them they kept jumping all over me!

    Hmmm I'm not sure how she got pregnant then..... I mean unless one of the wethers didn't get casterated correctly. I would just wait and see as a vet visit won't tell you much, you could get an ultrasound to see how many kids she has but vets usually charge quite a bit. Udders usually start...

    True, but you also have to be careful with formula as it can give scours or cause bloat in kids. But this is not the case most of the time.

    Whole milk does work great but if their raised on goats milk it's better for them and as they grow. Although goat milk can be hard to obtain in certain areas or its really expensive.

    She's from a breeder! She showed at a show in Arizona and took most of the show, this was before I got her though.
