Why is this keet's belly so dirty? Should I be concerned?

I don't think it will hurt but don't give to much, stick to the antibiotics if you can and I know it bothers you to have the keet calling but it's a matter of risking your whole keet group or having that one lonely. The antibiotic brand is Terra Vet 10, I think I got it at Cal-Ranch.

Why is this keet's belly so dirty? Should I be concerned?

Wow that's weird, the bird might have some disease or sickness, I would immediately separate him and give him poultry antibiotics (found at a local feed store, I use this one with yellow powder, it normally clears up whatever is going on)

Looking to re-home a RIR Rooster

Dang roosters on Craigslist are always the same ads: Super Sweet, real nice FREE. I don't think you'll get any doe off him. Another option, if your into it, you can butcher him and have a nice meal, but some people don't like to do that.

When Is A Rooster Full Grown?

Okay thx I just want him to be big enough to feed my family. He is also in a small cage so he doesn't get a lot of exercise, I've heard that can make your meat tough as well.

Rooster too aggressive with hen(s), what to do?

Yes that is true the saddle won't protect under the wing, but it can be helpful to protect the chicken's back.

    Rain verses missing sprinkler

Yes chickens like mud, and it's funny how they know the difference. Maybe the sprinkler makes a lot of noise

    Will Squirrels Bother Hen?

It is possible, the squirrel may get a little protective of the seeds but I don't think it would physically harm the chicken, but rodents do carry many diseases I would be a little worried about that. I'd say if you are going to throw the seeds and mealworms, throw them somewhere where the...

Rooster too aggressive with hen(s), what to do?

Hi you could use a chicken saddle which goes around the chickens when a rooster mounts. This will protect their back and feathers. You can get these at Cal-Ranch I think or you could make one out of something and watch a you tube tutorial. My friend made a chicken saddle out of duck tape once...

    Broody hens eggs not hatching

Sure anytime, I think the chicken will be fine, just make sure it has all the food and water needed and eventually it will move on. Chickens being broody don't have health issues due to that. You may see though what is called 'broody poops' which are very large and clumpy, but that is also not...
