Looks like we are in the same boat. By your picture, our keets are about the same age. I took mine out into the yard, and they "charged" the fence in the way you described.
Well, our chickens will be 3 months old on July 12th. Today is the first day we let them free range. They are having a great time of it!
I just got back from Rural King, with four new Guinea keets!
Very new to chickens. Built a pallet wood coop. We have 4 Barred Rocks, 6 Golden Comets, and 2 Bantams. We also have 8 children, 4 adults and 4 school aged.
We are excited to pick all of your chicken brains, to do right by our chickens.
