I have two I'm raising in my mud room right now due to extenuating circumstances and when I just had one I had the same problem. My solution? I put a shiny pot lid on the outside of the cage to act like a mirror. It took about 4 hours. She snuggled right up to it, talked to it...pecked at it... -

Thanks for the good words.... Not really....and give them food / water all day..... They're in black collapsable dog crates now..... Food / water up off the floor. Deep pine shavings on the floor changed at least once daily if not 3 times....then a dog bowl of extra water they can get in and... -
