I have 3 possible layers on this egg. One girl was supposed to be an Easter Egger. One was supposed to be an olive Egger. And the last is a blue laced red Wyandotte. I know it’s grey from the bloom, there are some scratches and it’s green underneath. So I’ve either got 2 olive Eggers, or...

One is supposed to be an Easter egger. The other an olive egger. They’re both just over 2 months old (hate date of June 29th-ish). But the supposed EE doesn’t have a beard or tufting of any kind. EE OE EE (left) and RIR (the those island still has chick down on her head. It’s so weird...

I’ve just had the worst luck with my birds recently lol. A couple of weeks ago these guys (5 chicks) finished a round of baytril for a respiratory something (it killed 3 of my hens… the other 2 responded to baytril… and I have 1 pullet that didn’t get sick) Anyway… the chicks are now 4-5...

All of my other birds (aside from the silkie) have had actual feathers in their tails. This is just like super long down feathers or something. It’s really weird. The brown one is about 2 weeks old (Easter egger).

Supposedly a blue laced red Wyandotte. It’s about 4 weeks old, maybe 5. Lots of feathers in but the tail is all poof.

My hens are doing well! Thank you for asking. Unfortunately, I have 2 chicks showing symptoms. So we’ll see what happens.

They’re making trouble in the play pen so I know they’re feeling better 🤣. Lady still has a bit of a cough but it’s sounding better than last night even, so I hope it’ll be gone soon. I wanted to thank everyone for their help. I really really appreciate it.

The steroids did wonders. I meant to post the above this morning but didn’t hit post. Both girls have been eating and drinking. Lady isn’t open beak breathing anymore. Susan is making normal chicken sounds. Lady does still have a cough/sneeze thing, but it’s better than it was. I’m very pleased...

Well… so far no answer other than it’s something respiratory. Duh. Lol He gave them both a shot of steroids and started them on baytril. Susan is now inside with lady and Daisy is on her lonesome outside.

What the farts y’all. Lady’s eye is swelling up again. I’m at a complete loss. I’m taking both lady and Susan to the vet in the morning.

Larger than the EE, very fluffy like the Orpington. She’s got the EE beard. Her sister had a different comb. She’s 2yo.

I don’t believe she’s eating. She might’ve been doing some foraging, but I haven’t seen her eat any feed. She pooped green yesterday. Otherwise it’s just white urea.

It was empty last night. She’s just really fluffy. I will triple check though. Thank you :)
