    Just read somewhere to not let 2 week old chicks outside even supervised but not explanation... I live surburbia so I have been letting them hang out in the California sunshine. They are eating worms and other bugs... bad/ok??

    I just got my chicks tonight. My husband told me to research coops and he would get on it. I love your design!! I might make it taller since we are 6' and 6'5". I adore the design!! Great job. That coop looks like it will last a few generations.

    Thanks. I can't help but laugh every time I think of my neighbors in this upscale neighborhood when they hear a chicken. Lol. Its legal, I checked, hope they get used to it :) This chicken stuff is so fun!!

    Do I need to worry about "the man" :) coming down on me if they get sick tho...? No roosters here either... I am literally in a subdivision. I told my neighbors, they laughed. Got 4 sex links... they SAID they were one of the more "quiet" ones... we'll see.
