    Thank you! That was what I had suspected, but wasn’t sure. Does anyone know the characteristics of this breed? Do they do well in winters, hot summers? He seems flighty right now, compared to my Wyandottes, but I’m wondering if that will continue.

    I have a young chicken that was given to me, hatched around June 1, and I’m not sure of the breed. I have a couple of ideas, but I’d like some feedback. Anybody have any idea? Oh, I do know it is a cockerel because he has already tried out his crowing voice!
