As Thanksgiving approaches, I regret to say one on my Fabulous Four brave hens has died. She took sick about a week ago, and listless. She would not eat or drink or watch out for hawks. Sweet Paleface is greatly missed and the flock is incomplete without her.

my first egg October 10. Not exciting to anybody else but five months of waiting an guarding and guessing and going to every supply store within two hours of here, I went out and bam, there was an egg. Word can't express our pleasure. -
