Good morning. How abnormal is to find an egg in the sack? the shell is almost hard, it looks like an umbilical cord and placentae still surrounding the egg. (I'm not sure if those terms apply for poultry).

My chicken is still alive, this morning I was able to get a picture of her face as Kiki asked me to. I want to think that she is doing better but I have my doubts. I left her in the cage by herself but her new friends can get very close.
