Ok. That would be great! I'm not sure what it could be though, lumps and bumps can be common in chickens... as long as she is acting normal, I would leave it. If she starts to decline, tell us right away!! It could be an abscess or infection of some type.

It's too much of a coincidence for two hens right in a row to be egg bound... it seems more like a disease spreading problem. I would quarantine the hen from the rest of the flock. If you have a separate coop that would be great, if not make her a fence near (but not close where disease can...
I'm not sure about bathing him, but I recently got some new hens that had lice and I treated them with Poultry Protector, (you can get it online or at TSC) it killed their lice almost instantly. For precaution I would treat all the chickens you have, as lice spreads REALLY fast, and your coop...
Ouch!! Poor hennie! I would be careful about the antibiotic cream, as it could accidentally get into her mouth because of the hole. I think that there isn't too much that you can do about it, considering that is such an odd injury. Putting some Neosporin around her injury would help to keep...

I think she will be fine. It just may take her a little while to get into the groove of laying each day. Plus for a first egg a double yolk she may take a break for a few days.
I have 6 hens and four of them love me, they play with me, want to be held, and eat out of my hands. But I have two that run when I'm near, don't want to interact with me like the other hens, won't eat treats from me and don't want me to touch them. They are Gertrude ( black manorca), and Kaycee...
