    Well looks like the only option would be to rearrange the food water dish & completely secure the top with wire...Getting lots of DIY ideas from this sight.. Never though I could have this much fun dealing with baby chickens....

    Started a breeding colony in 2010 ...6 South American Redfoots & 2 Burmese mountain Tortoises Now on to New adventures raising chickens . My sister in law 7 hens she has are 7 yrs old & not laying much anymore so now I'm hoping th be successful raising baby chickens.

    Hello all. We live on the Texas Hill country. I Just purchased 6 Lavender Orpingtons and 6 Sapphire gems. My sister in law has 6 hybrid hens 1 leghorn hen & 1 White & Brown rooster.... The chicks are in their own run inside the 40 ft x 30 feet chicken run....
