I sure hope so, but the big red combs made me suspicious.

Here I thought I was a pro at guessing genders, BOs are so hard. Or Im in denial that I have roosters. :( I bought 6 BO's, three of which I'm certain are pullets. I think PepperJack is a boy, and I'm really really hoping the other two are girls. PepperJack is the smallest compared to the...

Hen has wide stance, slow, less active, squishy stomach area.

I live in Alaska so a decent vet is hard to come by. I couldn't handle doing my own necropsy, my chickens are my pets and I couldn't stomach it. I've been told it could also be a crop issue, which is what I'm hoping for as it seems easier to handle than a reproductive issue.

Hen has wide stance, slow, less active, squishy stomach area.

She's barely eating. Won't eat pellets, will eat a little bit of fruit/bread but not finish it

Yes, her crop was empty. When she went to bed it was full of water.

Hen has wide stance, slow, less active, squishy stomach area.

This morning when I let her out of her cage she refused to eat anything I offered her and instead went and drank a LOT of water again.

Hen has wide stance, slow, less active, squishy stomach area.

I will. I'm also giving her a bit of bread with olive oil and tums on/in it, someone said it could be the start of being eggbound so it cant hurt to try.

Hen has wide stance, slow, less active, squishy stomach area.

All her droppings that I've seen recently (2 or 3 poos) have been white and very watery. She's doing worse today, she didn't even come eat corn like she normally would. I think she might have been laying down under the coop all day. Her bottom feathers have poo stuck to them but it doesn't look...

The last I know for sure she laid was a few days ago. I haven't seen her in the nesting boxes but I haven't paid a close eye, I will today

Hen has wide stance, slow, less active, squishy stomach area.

My hen panner has a wider, squatting stance compared to the other hens. It's subtle but she's waddling a bit. She is 2 or 3 years old. She seems a little slow, even when she runs she falls behind the other hens. She's been laying down more frequently. She's gained weight but its possibly water...

Lower keel area bloated, how should it feel??

A bit hard to explain, sorry in advance. If you feel the keel (breast) bone in a chicken and move your hand down to the lowest part of it, between the chickens legs, and then feel the area on the sides of the keel bone, how should it feel? Firm or squishy like theres water or fat around it? I...
