Fresh or dried mealworms??? or both?? Mine literally tackle each other for fresh mealworms!!! and they LOVE grapes ....
Strawberry gets a big NO from them too.
The pupa only really moves if you pick it up ..... Each stage of life takes awhile in the mealworm life cycle.... When I bought my worms 9 years ago they guy frowned when I told him I was going to raise them and he said well it will take 3 to 4 months before you get any..... not to mention...
I am posting these for my friend as he is taking back the Roos tomorrow ..... I believe we have it all figured out but these 3 he isnt 100% sure ... I know what I think but please weigh in if you would ... chickens are 4 months old so should be easy right???

It is not the USPS that is restricting the shipment of chicks ... there is a quarantine in Southern CA this is year 2 .... and no poultry can be moved legally b/c of Virulent Newcastle Disease. Anybody caught moving poultry will be fined A LOT of $$$$$.
I had my broody switch nests and I had no idea how long they had been left un attended definitely over night and not in a nice insulated incubator.... and they hatched just fine. So they should be okay!
It is much better to have a big space for the chicks then a small one. Dont worry about one side being cold and the other hot that is ideal as they will regulate their temperature by moving in and out of the hot and cold zones.

Looks like a normal poop.... shedding of the intestinal wall like Eggcessive said .... When it is Cocci it looks like blood .... red dark blood splotches. Once you see that there is no mistaking it for the picture you just posted. You should find the normal / bad poop picture page as there...
