    Ok, we got the chickens. Two of each of the following: Rhode Island Red Plymouth Barred Rock Americauna I think one of the Americauna may be a cockerel, but I'm not sure. When the comb starts growing out I will be able to tell better I guess.

    Thanks for all the compliments and ideas. I have debated about the hardware cloth and I may end up putting hardware cloth along the bottom part of the the run. Time will tell on that. I will be making nesting boxes soon, but I have some time as the pullets we are getting will be young.
