    Chicks dying

Yes. We had 2 in the bigger brooder but since we’ve lost quite a few we took it down to one. All 15. Yes. This is temporary because we couldn’t fit the bigger brooder in our house. They are drinking and eating just fine. They have chick grit as well.

    Chicks dying

I got 22 chicks 4 days ago from Meyer Hatchery. So far we have lost 7. One dies and then they all look fine then one starts looking weak and then dies. And it just keeps happening. We thought it could be the setup we had in our garage being too cold. We moved them inside and still dying. I’ve...

The...

    Sick chick help!!

I don’t know what to do 😅 I have 2 week old chicks and I’ve already had 3 silkies die. I just treated for corid (not 100% sure they had coccidiosis but treated anyways) and changed over to vitamins and electrolytes last night. The last couple days though there are 2 chicks that I keep finding...

    Corid mishap… maybe

    Corid mishap… maybe

First time chicken mom. Long story short… had 3 silkie chicks die all within a few days of each other over a week timeframe. Not any symptoms besides lethargy from them, but I was worried the flock maybe had coccidiosis. So I mixed the correct amount of corid with water and left it for them...
