    What color guinea keet? White?

i don’t remember from last year, but do day old white guinea keets have a little color to them? I hatched these myself and only have pearls, pieds, and whites so I’m assuming this one is white as well but I don’t remember them having this cream colored chipmunking. I took a picture with a pied...

    Lavender Orpington Thread

When I started my flock, I originally planned on getting some to raise chicks to sell and to sell hatching eggs out of. But I got some adult birds just to keep me in eggs and I'm just not sure about their breeding and now I've got these so I've got a mess haha. I love my Orps :) either way, I've...

    Lavender Orpington Thread

Sooo I asked a question a few weeks ago about some eggs a lady gave me. So you don't have to scroll up: I was looking for some LO's to hatch out. A lady said she had some but when I went to meet her, she told me she wasn't going to charge me because some of hers were turning out buff and she...

    Lavender Orpington Thread

@wynn4578 It's possible. I picked them up at an auction just to get me started. I need to get some better pictures because my rooster looks a lot more lanky in that pic than he is.

    Lavender Orpington Thread

@ShanandGem I thought the same thing about the rooster. And since I just picked them up a couple weeks ago, it's likely he is. The hens are similar to my buff hens I had before though. They have no barring and look true lavender color to me but their eyes are hazel almost. Very pretty, but I'm...

    Lavender Orpington Thread

I was hoping someone here could tell me a little bit more information on some things. I am new to Lavender Orpingtons although not really that new to chickens. I had a mixed flock before of good egg layers but when I got my new coop and run, I decided to settle on one breed and hatch some eggs...

Hello to Everyone from Iowa! :)

I am so glad I found this group! I found so much helpful information while troubleshooting a hatch, so afterwards I just had to join to meet everyone! I actually don't have any chickens of my own at the moment. We've had them for the last 2 years but before winter hit I decided to give my...

    Hey There!

My Orpington hatched out guinea eggs just fine :) We don't have a rooster, but most of my hens are broody if you let them so my mom would bring down her guinea eggs for her to set on. Guineas were the only chicks she ever got to hatch out. Hopefully your quails will do okay as well!
