Hello, my name is Arik. While I've been around chickens my entire life, I have personally been raising and caring for chickens for 12 years now. I am a breeder and shower of heritage breed poultry and specialize in Russian Orloffs of both the spangled and mahogany varieties. I am the owner and operator of Equinox Giants poultry, a small-scale heritage breeding and preservation farm.

My other breeds and birds I work with are Langshans, Wyandottes, Chanteclers, exhibition Leghorns, LF Modern Game, and Black turkeys.

I am only breeding Orloffs and Langshans right now, though. All of my birds are bred for health and temperament first, while always selecting for the best show conformation. I breed poultry because I love domesticated birds. Mine are raised for pets, exhibition, meat, and eggs.

I am always happy to help you out and answer any questions you have about chicken keeping. I research my answers before giving them if it isn't something I know for sure.
