    Why do my chickens act like they are starving

    I thought it was just me. My chickens do this to. And have access to lot's of there food and water. Whenever i give them chicken scratch in the late afternoons they litterally jump on it. lol's. Amy

    Lazy Eye?

    I think i have a new Hampshire red that has a lazy eye. It opens and then kind of half shuts. Her other one is just fine. She's still eating and drinking and laying egg's. Just happened to look the subject up to see if there were any treatments or anything. Amy

    Does molting keep hens from laying?

    i got a question about molting. My 6 big girl's are still laying. They haven't molted yet. Winter isn't till December 21st i think. So i was wondering when there next molt would be. Not that i am in a hurry for them to stop laying. I was just curious. thank you, Amy

    i am glad to see this. I have some basil in my frig. So it will make the egg's taste like basil? Trying all kinds of things for my chickens to eat. Been googling and stuff to make sure i don't give them anything that's not good for them to them.
