    Yeah that’s a good idea. I’ll try to incubate as I could be missing somthing. Regarding the replacement… it’s more a cool oppertunity. Jersey giants are few and far between here in the UK so maybe I’m just over excited! Lol

    The current cockerel I have (French copper maran) is 18 months… that’s what the breeder told me although I have my doubts… the jersey giant would be about 12 months

    Ahh I didn’t know! I was just advised to put it down when changing bedding to help with mites and stuff. But I have been reading about DE since you mentioned and the responses are mixed!
