    Glad I seen your post, as I want to eat affected rooster as well. Its heart breaking to kill him , so I don't want to waste. At least he will serve the poultry purpose, kinda logic.

    We have nestera coops with correct ventilation. Weather is brutal for them this winter. Sub zero, then warm. Then sub zero again. Sometimes they pack in one coop so its a bit crowded. But we clean it regularly, every 3 days or so. Shouldn't be building up too much ammonia
