    No grit was given yet. He was on the ground though where little stones like grit available. But don't know if that ok source. I gave an egg and from about that time things went downhill. But other chick was getting same and so far ok

    Glad I seen your post, as I want to eat affected rooster as well. Its heart breaking to kill him , so I don't want to waste. At least he will serve the poultry purpose, kinda logic.
