    OVERLY tired newly hatched chick...anyone had this? Not first timer ;)

    Ah so glad I found this, my recently hatched chick is like this now and it's so hard to look at them sleep so much :-p Only a tiny bit of chirping and then just breathing ! I know its a very old thread though but this is why I love these forums, you find almost everything here :-)

    Awww, silkies are so cute haha!! Chick is doing very well, and very glad you asked cause just 15 minutes ago THE EGG HATCHED!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)))) And I got it on video In a few moments I'll post the video on youtube and link it, and show some pictures! - BTW the chick is huge, almost the same...

    Well I guess its all a matter of guessing and waiting to be honest :-P One of mine pipped and 3 hours later if I'm correct, voilah she was out - some are faster some are slower. I am now excitedly waiting for the last egg, internal chirping, no pip yet !!!!! chewing my nails all the way >_>

    1 of the two eggs dead opened it and a ~11 day one was dead. The other one is chirping and you can feel it move ......... day 21 again, BEST days ever :P Waiting....
