My broody hen hatched three eggs I ordered. A Copper Maran, a opal legbar/silverudd mix, and a 3rd gen oliver egger. The little one circled hatched the next day after the others. The first two hatched have tail feathers starting. All their wings seem to extend toward their tail. Guesses on gender?
Shew! No kidding! My dad is 76 and means well, I didnt have the heart to tell him, I have no need of a rooster. So the rooster is now on his way to my brother’s farm to be company for his hens. Lol.
I got gifted this rooster from my well meaning dad. He has no idea the breed of rooster he bought. He looks like a Lavender Orpington maybe? Does anyone have a idea on possible breed? He has feathered legs.
From my devotional today:
Closer Than You Think
When something terrible happens and the world makes zero sense…
The Lord is still close.
Throughout Scripture, we see examples of this: God fights for the Israelites and rescues them from the Egyptians (Exodus 14:13-14). Joshua defeats...
I am on the hunt for whiting true blue or cream legbar pullets or laying hens. I am located in Kentucky. Willing to travel to anywhere in Kentucky, southern Indiana, southern Ohio, or northern Tennessee.
