Thanks for this feedback. Where can I get the best button quail pen for indoors? I searched through Amazon and eBay.. where all pens seem to be designed for outdoors.
Also once I hatch 6 quails.. assuming half females and half males.. should I get another group of 6 to find mates for them?
Im thinking of growing them from eggs.. Not sure about their housing after they grow up and be able to fly. How about releasing them in the backyard without a pen, but with bird nests like the ones in the pic? As always I will feed them so they will know this is their home.
Will they disappear...
Can I use a regular bird cage for parakeet or finch? Or how about a bushel basket in the pic? (under the assumption that they don’t fly higher than 7 inches)
