My friend is saying my Cayugas are mixed because they aren't laying jet black eggs. I get dark grey, light grey, greenish, and sometimes white eggs from my two ladies.

I need an inexpensive but good incubator. Any ideas?

Yep! They're only out together if I'm watching them. The little ones stay in the pen during the day while Pudge is loose so they can still be around each other but can't get to each other. At night, the little ones come inside and Pudge goes in the pen in case of predators.
