Looking for started pullets in Colorado

Lovely! I caved and got a brooder setup again since I was having such a difficult time finding birds off heat. I am still looking to add 2-3 more though. How old are the birds you have? Or do you have any chicks available too? Thanks!

    Colorado

Hello fellow Colorado chicken lovers! Does anyone have started pullets/hens? I've raised from chicks before, but would like to add established birds. Thanks!

@Percheron chick, do you still have started pullets or hens available? I'm in Coal Creek and would like to add some older/established birds. Thanks

Here's my most recent pic! The 2 cream legbars and starlight green have no wattles and yellow/nude combs. The 2 buff orpingtons have red comb and wattles.

I don't mind keeping 1 but I am worried that having 3 hens and 1 rooster won't be a good ratio.

Happy to report that so far my cream legbars are still looking like pullets! The starlight green is also currently looking like a female. My two buff orpingtons however are both looking like roos. Both have a pink comb and wattles at almost 6 weeks old.

Starlight Green Eggers Progress Pics and Breed Discussion

Thanks! Fingers crossed Norma turns out female as my 2 buff orps are looking like roos. It's funny how they're all different. Also, I always heard cream legbars were aloof/skittish, but one of mine is sooo cuddly!

Starlight Green Eggers Progress Pics and Breed Discussion

I got 1 starlight green egger (along with 2 buff orps and 2 cream legbars) from TSC on May 13. Norma (bird #3) is my starlight green. She is the most elusive and skittish out of all of them. So far still looking like a pullet, but time will tell!

    Buff Orpington Gender

Hey y'all! I have 2 buff orps that look quite different. Bird #1 is larger, has a distinct tail, and a more pink comb and wattle. This bird has always been bigger than bird #2.Possibly a roo or too early to tell? Bird #2 is smaller, short tail with a pink/nude comb and wattle. Thanks for your...

Four colors of Starlight Green Eggers

Adding photos of my SGE too! It is bird #3 in all pics. It is the most flighty and skittish out of my five chicks. Currently has a beautiful copper coloring on its neck with black and gold wing feathers.
