    I have moved out of my parents home in Pacific Palisades and can no longer give these hens(Australorp and barred Plymouth rock) the time they deserve. I also have a chicken coop for sale if anyone wants it. PM me if you can help them out, looking for a good home for them.

    I mean sometimes the eggs would be a little dirty and I would only clean them right before eating/cooking with them. I heard when you clean them they lose their natural coating that helps preserve them out of the fridge. I wondering if I clean them or not?

    I love having my coffee every morning! i use organic instant and hazelnut natural flavored coffee. i add the tiniest bit of coconut oil plus stevia for sweetener... it is a 10! must try :)

    Well, this is sort of a funny situation I find myself in now. I originally got the chickens for the eggs but am now vegan! I'm not sure exactly what to do with my current eggs and future eggs until I am able to find a new owner for the chickens and coop. Thought this would be a good discussion...

    Nipple waterer

    I also tapped the nipple while they were near. I used a long branch so I wasn't too close to scare them away. I held the branch against to let it drip and also tapped so they could put two and two together.
