    Ok so I'll be going back to the feed store to get the starter I won't be feeding this to them. Guess I'll just save this for my two hens when they start laying.thanks for the info. I will be trying the fermentation of there feed in the future.

    Yes 3.50-4.0% so layer is only for my HENS when they start laying? Well that's not for a few more months.. what harm can it do if I feed them this since its already bought? Again I dont wanna hurt them at all as they are my pets.!
