I'm supposed to be getting some peach peafowl. I'm new to peach. Since it's a sex-link color, does that mean there's a way to tell at hatch if they are male or female? The breeders are all peach pied/white eye/silver pied/solid.
So Isabel Cuckoo Orpingtons And Isabel Orpingtons are the same? I want to get eggs from another breeder but am trying to make sure I'm not getting something different.
I apologize I'm new to this. What do you mean by barred? I know I was told that the black Copper roo to cream legbar hen would produce sexlink where the male still had the dot and females were all black. Would that be the same with blue Copper then?
Thank you. I was told if I used black Copper roo and cream legbar hens that they are sexlink. Do you know if I would use a blue Copper roo and cream legbar hens If they would be sexlink also or would that mess up the outcome?
I was thinking Of breeding my Copper Marans With my cream legbars to produce olive eggers. Does anyone know if the offspring would also produce offspring that also lay olive eggs or is it just a first generation thing ?
I got my Guinea keets last June. I live in PA. At what point should the females start laying? I was planning on hatching them for people, but I'm not sure what to tell them for a time frame.
I understand that blue red laced wyandottes do not breed true. So if you breed two blue laced reds together, will they produce only 50% blue red laced Wyandotte chicks. Another 25% will be black laced red Wyandottes and 25% will be splash laced red Wyandottes? Or is it something entirely different?
