Thanks for all of your responses! My husband is camping for the week. When he gets home, I'll share all of the ideas with him and we'll make a plan. The nest is in the corner close to the door of the run so that definitely works in our favor!- aimwad

Hi Everyone - I have a pretty big wasps nest on the roof portion of my chicken run. What is a safe way to get rid of the nest? Right now I'm using pine shavings in their coop. I'm starting to look around to see about something different so I too am curious as to what others do in their coop as well. I did look into DLM, but don't think that's for me since my coop is so small. However I do think I'll do DLM in my run...- aimwad

Raising 3 chicks
Welcome! I also have 3 chicks and this is my first time raising from chick. I hope to add a few more chicks in a year or so. I'm limited by my city's ordinance. One suggestion that I have is if you live in an area where there may be some warmer weather, you could take your chicks outside...- aimwad

I also used the biggest plastic tote I could find. We camp a lot so we have a tripod that we use for dutch oven cooking for over campfire. I used that tripod to hang the heat lamp from. Just shortened the chain when it was time to raise the lamp. Worked real well.- aimwad
