This is my fourth experience raising turkey poults. I'm new to this, I've only ever raised chickens and waterfowl before. It's parents both grew much faster than it is though, which caused me to worry.
I take those daily, so I'll start that today too.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate...
I have a royal palm x bronze breasted poultry that seems to be growing really slowly to me. I'm already worried, but I don't know how worried I should and whether or not I should be doing something more for it. It hatched late May 30th or the wee hours of June 1st, and it's still mostly baby...
Thank you. Coming from someone more experienced in this, it means a lot.
We named them all. Sunkist the one from post 11, Tio is the second gold colored one, and Punkin is the black and yellow.
One is the baby from post 11, but we ended up deciding cull the one from picture 17.
I feel like murdering monster, but I believe it was the right thing to do.
I lost the youngest one. I've got three, seemingly healthy, babies left. They all eat, drink, and run around like crazy. Super active. I hope they stay this way.
I'm down to four. The last one to hatch is drinking, but hasn't eaten. It can't stop flipping to it's back because it's legs don't fully work. It's a LOT more active and vocal than on day one, but we're still highly concerned.
So this is what I ended up doing. It looks bright, but I've got a temp gage in there and am monitoring it. She's moving around a lot more now, which I think is good. I separated her from the others because they were chewing on her feet and walking all over her.
