    They are just over 5 months old. They look nice but also have 2 other Roos and 2 of these 3 have started getting more aggressive with my 6 hens so they are likely headed for the pot. Don’t need 5 roos for 6 hens. Only actually want one but was going to leave them go if they got along together...

    I went real simple. It’s just going to sit on a shelf in the coop. Can’t see in the picture but I left about a one inch gap in the back at the top for a little air flow.

    Just finished up the nesting boxes for my new chickens. I still need to get a dowel rod to mount in front on the bottom trim. Few more weeks until they’ll be ready for the coop.

    I got 3 ISA Browns (pullets, 2+ weeks), 3 Amberlinks (pullets, 2+ weeks), 2 Silver-laced Wyandottes (straight run, 2+ weeks), 2 Brahmas (straight run, ~ 3-4 weeks), & 2 New Hampshire Reds (straight run, ~5 weeks).
