    We live in Fairbanks and kept two Toms and two hens along with 10 chickens through the winter. I too was surprised at how warm they stay. We also have an insulated Coop with a covered outside run. And I can't believe how they like the snow!

    Could you send pictures of your setup with the light in the cookie tin, please. What I realized with my turkeys is that they cannot drink out of something shallow they need to almost put their whole head in the water apparently.     It's so hard & full of scales. No center to it. I've never had turkeys before.

    I don't believe this is bumblefoot because I've had chickens with it and they're not acting the same. The hard lump in the middle of their foot hinders them being able to perch correctly them being on perch. What would you do?
