I've been reading and reading about freezing temps and keeping water thawed. I fought it and fought it but the only thing I could really come up with is keeping the Coop up to temp. I live in North Pole Alaska (yes there is a real North Pole) and our winter time temps seldom ever get above 0...
Right or wrong (no harm yet) i have been feeding my birds all the grass clippings from the lawn. I have 16 hens of assorted breed, 3 geese, 2 Turkeys, and an awesome Bantey Rooster. My wife calls him "Little man", and they come running when I pull up with the riding mower.
