What do you use to store your feed bags in?

I didn't think about keeping it in a fridge. We do have one in our garage and it does get awful humid here in the summers. Thanks for the suggestions! Oh yes,I put out a washer and fridge here one night and they were gone the next morning! Super convenient! I actually scored some coop...

I plan on taking some photos tonight! We are taking them home today and temporarily housing them in our garage in an enclosed exercise dog pen until our roof gets completed on our coop! I will post! I have no clue what we have! One looks like she is definitely is part buff orpington, the...

What do you use to store your feed bags in?

LOL! I didn't even think about sealing it or making it secure. Great ideas! I'm sure we would have some critters in there if we did that too! Thanks!

What do you use to store your feed bags in?

That's a great idea! We were talking about those this morning, but that is what I brought up. I wasn't sure they actually sealed closed to keep things out. Thanks for the tip!

What do you use to store your feed bags in?

I wasn't sure if those would keep raccoons out or not! Granted, if we have a raccoon IN the coop then there's a way bigger problem! Hoping it is rodent and snake proof too, but just want to make sure it doesn't attract anything! Thanks!

LOL! We have plenty of fishing stuff in the garage and plenty of room to put something in there too! Thank you.

What do you use to store your feed bags in?

We were lucky to inherit someone's old coop building. It is 14' x 7' with a slanted roof and we are currently redoing the whole thing. We will have 6 chickens, so plenty of room. What I'm curious about is, do you store your feed inside your coop? What do you store your feed in so it doesn't...

    Coop "Must Haves"

I just saw those nesting pads on amazon yesterday! I wondered if they were worth it or not, we will definitely try them out and see what they prefer when it comes time for them to start laying! Thank you!

    Coop "Must Haves"

I have been looking up ventilation options this week! I found a solar powered fan on Amazon that can use solar power or be plugged in, plus rust-proof vent that can go in on the other side of the coop. What do you use for ventilation? We were just talking about windows this morning. It only...

    Coop "Must Haves"

Thank you! I've been back and forth on whether to use lights. I want it to be a safe coop, but don't know about leaving lights on for them. This one came with nesting boxes that are in great shape. I'm going to sand them a bit. I thought about staining or painting them too. What do you use...

    Coop "Must Haves"

Hello Everyone! We have been given an old coop building and we are going to be working on fixing it up. It has good, solid bones. We have many coops at work, but this is our first home coop. I know a lot about keeping predators out, but what I want to know are your "must have" items for a...
