    Thank you for the info. I don’t plan to breed it, but I do want to get it a couple of companions. I’m in Alaska so my options are slim. There’s someone local with blue slates hatching now so I’ll likely go that route. I’m okay with just calling it a black turkey.

    She is probably one of their Prarie Bluebell colored egg layers. They don't have uniform or standard colors. The legs aren't green, but that's my best guess.

In my previous coop, I walked into the feed storage room and the nest boxes were in the dividing wall between the chicken space and the storage, so I didn't have to go into the coop to collect eggs.
