I was a bit young (13) when we made the move. I moved out (military) after I graduated... than I moved back to raise a family here.
Compared to the lower 49, this particular city (Juneau) is a bit... safer (?) to raise kids (less crime per mile). Less pollution...

I am in Alaska and want to purchase a Brahma Rooster. I would also like to have him decrowed.
I cannot find a vet in this state that decrows... does anyone have any recommendation? I don't mind if I have to purchase the rooster through the vet.

I've had chickens on the farm in Indiana before moving up here to Alaska. Most recently, I bought some chickens about a year ago.
