    Automatic Chicken Door suggestions

That one sounds great! I will have to look it up! Somewhere I saw that there are doors that will stay closed if it's too cold outside. Does this door have that capability too?

    Automatic Chicken Door suggestions

Hello! I am looking for recommendations on the best automatic chicken door. I have a 10×12 shed/coop with 25 chickens. We have a large run attatched to the coop that the chickens have full access to. Our run is predator proofed and we have had no issues thus far. However, with cold weather here...

Aggressive Rooster - Best Rooster Breed

Aggressive Rooster - Best Rooster Breed

Our guy is huge and hard for me to hold. My husband tries that method, but it doesn't work anymore. Last time he picked him up the rooster pecked him in the face. That's when we realized there was nothing else we could do to correct his behavior :(

    Tiny Broody Coop

I just realized I never posted pictures of the babies! Momma took them out for the first time in the yard last night. Two chicks snuck into the run and one got pecked by a hen so next time I'll have to take them out on the opposite side of the coop.

Aggressive Rooster - Best Rooster Breed

I definitely agree he has to go. I would love a roo that would produce hens that laid pretty colorful eggs. We have 16 different egg laying breeds. Mostly brown egg layers, but we do have an Easter Egger that lays light green, a Blue Ameraucana that lays blue, two welsummers that lay dark...
