Is this bumblefoot? Also dealing with lice.

Thank you to everyone. We thought our girl was a gunner, but she is pulling through. We replaced the bedding, and did a DE and poultry dust treatment of the coop foe the lice. Will do another round shortly to make sure we get them, but our girl is walking normal and seems much better. So...

Is this bumblefoot? Also dealing with lice.

Hello everyone. We have a mixed flock of hens that are Easter Eggers brahma, window and red ranger. 7 in all and they are about 7 months old. We have one that started walking very odd and was lethargic. We isolated her thinking it may be Mareks, but she seems to be improving. We were...

Chicken sick. Mellow and walking oddly

Any thoughts? We chatted with one of our friends with chickens, and the only input we got is that she is likely about to die.

New to chickens, chicks huddling away from radiant heater

Thanks for all the suggestions. We will take a second thermometer we have to check it too. Normally, the front is also mostly covered. We just lower the flap when we want to access them. The tarp isn't necessarily coveting the entire thing as we wanted some ventilation too, plus it has a few 2"...

New to chickens, chicks huddling away from radiant heater

We have a little thermometer we got from the feed store. It showed 68 in the garage. When we put it in the crate it showed 70, and it never went above 70 despite the heater being on. That is what was alarming us.

We got 6 chicks from a local farmer yesterday that are 2 weeks old. Get got them setup in a crate last night in our garage which is...
