    Have candled them in a not knowing what I am doing way, 2 weren't fertile (lavendar pekins from neighbour with cockerel and 2 hens), discarded them. Other two had 3/4 dark area with 1/4 light area! Put them back under her! They are 'mille fleurs' from rare breed farm! What do you think? If...

    No haven't candled them, is it ok to do that this late on (moving eggs round, disturbing hen)? The fact she kicked out one made me think she knows more than me so I have been leaving her too it and trying not to fuss with the eggs.

    We got 6 eggs, she broke one on day 10 and we removed it but it looked like something was growing. On day 16 she pushed one out and it had nothing happening in it. It is day 25 and she is sitting well on them, should I leave her?
