I would wait three days to a week before moving her. Some of the hens are very stubborn and will be returning to the original nest. I did not have any success last year with one of my hens. She would rather sit on an empty nest than to follow the eggs.

I have no experience with quails. But they recommend to let the eggs "rest" for 8 to 24 hours after arrival. Best of luck!

Does anyone has an experience with this kind of incubator? I have a new one and the instructions are not giving enough information about manual egg turning. My question is, do you rock the incubator all the way to its sides or to a side and the middle and then the other side?
