    I trained dogs in the military. Dogs will paw at their mouth and at times dig that their mouths. Sounds to me he may have an infection. They shake head and can drulle or salvate allot. Look for color. Try to look at gums for any sores.

    Mealworms are a good protein source.limit to small amounts to feed them. I worked in a zoo and we were told to watch the limit we fed birds. We gave 1 cup a week.Hope this helps.
