Too early to tell, at about a month old they will get there voice, typical quack sound is a girl and raspy sound is male. Since they are that young start on a chick starter non medicated and i would definitely keep separated from chickens. You can use a dog kennel they will still need a heat...
You can keep ducks and chickens together we have 10 ducks and 7 chickens together. We feed them all flock with nutritional yeast added for extra niacin. What sexes are the ducks? Recommended to have 4-6 females to males.
Old thread aha but here are our Rhode island red x gold laced Wyandotte roo. Got them from someone whose hen stopped sitting on nest and hatched in incubator.
Absolutely fine for the chickens, keep giving the niacin to the ducks even after better most feeds for ducks and chickens don't have enough niacin for ducks I add it to my duck/chicken feed and its fine.
I love ducks so much! They are messy and have watery poo but I love them! We have a black Swedish mixed Drake, 4 blue Swedish mixed, 1 magpie, 2 Rouens, and 2 Khaki Campbells. I'll see if I can find a photo!
