Love my chickens, love to help on gendering chickens if I can. Have kept them now for about 8 years, would have gotten them sooner if I could have- but DH kept up traveling due to his service.
They are the best! I'm no expert on anything. I enjoy learning more about everything- that's a big reason this forum IS the best! Those here are very knowledgable and helpful. It's amazing. I am grateful that I can read the threads and learn so much! It's like having a team of professionals at my fingertips when problems arise- I hope not to need- but am relieved to have.
I have 3 grown children. Only one is married.
Politics enrage me. I'll probably poof away during that time frame to avoid any messes or conflict. Wish Kindness was the mandate.
I sew, re-purpose old furniture pieces, read, write letters back & forth with actual paper, and love to sit in the yard with my chicks.
I am never bored. It's awesome.
Broke my leg earlier this year trying to climb & hop over a fence, had to have surgery which required pins & joints- all the fun stuff- which is sure to make any metal detector on my next flight a ball
I forget that I'm as old as I am and that I ought not act like I'm young enough to do things like that.
However, I can say- that really sucked- first broken bone- and I don't want a repeat.
That about sums it up. Dull & standard, really.
