I’m so glad they are working out for you! I just get a little sad when I see people peddling mutts as seramas and ripping people off. I have seen way too many kids show up to their first show with “seramas” their parents bought them… only for the judge to have a conversation with the family...

I think they're a cross between OEGB/serama mixes and Barbu D’Anvers.

I think what you have are true mutts in the best way. Crosses that are multiple generation in. That makes it hard to identify components.

Frizzles are prone to excessively weak feathers, and are liable to get feather picked from other hens. Mine have always looked rough. The best way to keep frizzles is with other frizzles- and away from smooth feathered hens.
Can you show a picture of the mystery chick’s comb? Hoover’s, the hatchery TSC gets their birds from, doesn’t carry and crested breeds. I’m kind of leaning towards gold sebright.
He is a serama- where did you get your birds? There are lots of little breeds that people often make mutts of: serama, old English game bantam, modern game bantam, kikiriki, chabo etc… they could be a mix of anything.
