Humane euthenasia old hen: place in warm, closed box near flock, & let it pass naturally??? (e.g. from dehydration)
I cannot stress this enough- PLEASE do not do this. Look up the “broomstick method” for slaughtering chickens. Fast and humane and you don’t need to worry about not having a sharp enough knife. If you can’t do it, please find a friend or adult who can.- allosaurusrock

Rats are so frustrating. I had mine chew through the wood in my coops and take out most of my serama hatch last year. We’ve had to reinforce the edge of the doors with metal plates.- allosaurusrock

Tbh I think egg turners are worth it. Having to open the incubator to hand turn causes some pretty gnarly spikes in humidity and temperature. You can also leave the house for longer periods of time lol. Just be careful with little giant brand stuff. A lot of it is poor quality in my experience...- allosaurusrock
