Mites, hen pecking, or other disease??

We added new birds last summer. Originally felt we had a lot of feather pecking going on. The adolescents kept preening and pecking the beard feather out. But no my two young Wyandottes heads look like they are going bald! I am inclined to think feather mites as I don’t see mites but wanted to...

    Crusty mouth/beak 5 year old favacauna : pox/canker?

No other scabs or lesions, no smell as of right now. I am hesitant to treat with metronidazole incase this is nothing because of not knowing withdrawal date although I would rather save her than eat her eggs. Is it possible she ate something or cut her mouth?

    Crusty mouth/beak 5 year old favacauna : pox/canker?

I agree it is goofy and right in the corner of her mouth. No other symptoms that I can tell. Eating and drinking. She tends to mouth breath because she doesn’t tolerate heat well. Better pictures. She is such a good girl. It is 80 and she has never liked heat but still panting quite a bit

6-7 week old blue laced Wyandottes sexing

In case anybody ever looks at this thread for information on there chickens, these two did indeed turn out to be girls. About 4 weeks later I am pretty sure given there pale pink combs and lack of wattles. They would be about 11-12 weeks in this photo
