    I’ve always heard that Polish hens aren’t broody but mine has been on eggs now 23.5/7 for around 6 weeks… is this ok?!

    (1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Found a stray mixed breed very old rooster on Sept.15 2022 & took him in & built him 2 coops & got him several hens… sadly he passed of old age on Feb.12 2023 but I still have 7 hens to date! (2) How many chickens do you have right...

    I didn't think Polish went broody?!

    I have a broody polish hen at the moment too! She’s the only polish with 6 other silkies & she’s been firmly on her eggs now 23.5/7 for almost 6 weeks… I can’t get her to stay off of them!!!
