    I have seen no ill effects from coffee grounds.They don't eat them, they scratch them.They are also high in N content and breakdown Carbon quickly. Black soldier flies lay eggs in them too!

    I am a firm believer in a compost pile in the chicken yard. Hay,cow & horse manure and coffee grounds. The Chickens luv it!.It cuts down on feed consumption too!
