    I was kind of thinking that they weren't the Orpington's eggs, but the middle one is just different enough from the other two, that I am not sure.

    I am gathering eggs every day. I search the coop and run, as the EE lays everywhere except the nest box. I had egg #1 on 1/25, and egg #2 on 1/26, and then no brown egg until today (1/31). I have 5 hens total. The two I know are laying lay green & blue.

    Sigh. I know. 😅 I was hopeful that the other orpington was a runt because my French Black Marans and Colorpack are about the same size as him. Though he is bigger than the Colorpack now.

    Update 13-14w I am pretty sure this is a cockerel. He is almost twice the size of the other orpington that came out of the same bin at Wilco.

    These are the best that I could get without the chicken running away screaming. 😅 Because of the move, they didn't get as much attention as I would have liked to give them when they were little.

    I was thinking that, too. It was kind of crazy though. That one grew so fast, and the other one was always smaller than the other chicks. Like, at 2 weeks, the big orpington was twice the size of the other one. Today, they were out in the run, and the bigger orpington was fluttering its wings...
