    I have a 10 x 10 dog cage for my ducks housing. 8feet is covered by a roof and 2 feet only covered by chicken wire. The 2 feet that isn’t covered let’s rain in and so walking up to his pool deck is a muddy mess! I’ve seen people put the all purpose sand down so it’s not so muddy. My question...

    It’s winter for sure. I’m in Oklahoma so our winters are too terrible. Also, should I spread hay around the outside of his little house as well as the inside of it? Would that help his little feet?

    I have a Kiddie pool in his cage and he gets locked up at night. There are shavings and straw/hay in his igloo doghouse with some toys. Does he have to have his pool in the winter? He has a tarp over the top of his cage...so I need anything extra to block wind or make him warmer? Should I keep...

    So my duck has an igloo dog house (large) that he sleeps in. I have lined it and packed it full with hay...should I clip a towel to it so he has kind of a door-ish? Also....I feed him chicken scratch and protein crumbles (grower) do I need to feed him more or something extra for the winter...
