    Thanks for the info but only way I could see to do it from what you listed was to send a PM (and kinda wanted to publicly acknowledge) as I couldn't find an associated thread where the ovation shows up and when I went to their profile I couldn't find a place "wall" to enter a comment

    Thx Mrs K And yes we have hawks and can hear the owls most all day. Already having a lot of fun. I have found watching chickens is much more fun than watching TV lol

    I did build it based on on-line research.. The coop is 6x8 feet and the run is close to 300 sq ft. (16x16 but one side isn't square) with the goal of allowing 2 sq ft per bird in the coop and 10 sq ft in the run. We're in S.W. Missouri where winters can be a little cold sometimes but last year...
